INGLOT Review & Swatches

Hey Guys,
How is everyone?  Hopefully fabulous! :)

This post is going to be a little review and swatches of my INGLOT eyeshadows that I purchased weeks ago.  I've gotten alot of use out of most of them, so thought it was time to share my thoughts.

As most of you have probably heard...INGLOT is raved about alot these days and let me tell you they live up to the hype.  I got a 10 pan freedom system palette.  The freedom system palette allows you to select the colors you want and the arrangement you want.
These are the colors I picked:
* Matte 391 (Black)
* Matte 335 (Burnt Orangy Brown)
* Matte 344 (Light taupe Brown)
* Matte 363 (Medium Taupey Brown)
* Matte 386 (Purple)
* Matte 361 (Peachy Coral)
* Matte 366 (Reddish Coral)
* AMC Shine 17 (Shimmery Green)
* AMC Shine 14 (Shimmery Purple)
* AMC Shine 41 (Shimmery Yellow)

Swatches are over an eyeshadow primer

 Most of the shades I got were mattes.  I found that you just need to dab your brush into the matte shade and that wil give you plenty of color to apply to your eyes.  I don't recommend swirling your brush into the matte shades, as they become very chalky and you end up making a mess and wasting product.  A little goes along way, so don't over do it when picking up the product with your brush.
You don't have to worry about chalkyness with the AMC Shines.
The only negative I have about INGLOT is their website.  They have computer generated pictures of each color which stinks.  It would be nice if they had true photos of the actual shades.  The second thing that I didn't like was having no option to sort by shade or finish which can make it time consuming to find # of the shadow you are looking for.  And lastly, their shopping cart is a pain!  When you make a purchase, make sure add each eyeshadow  to your cart individually.  This way each item is itemized in your cart and you can delete one or more if needed.  Otherwise...if you select the quantity of each shade you want to purchase and then hit add items to cart, they are going to lumped into one big list.  So if you need to delete one eyeshadow, you can't because they are lumped together.  INGLOT just started their online store this year, so hopefully in time, they will improve their website and make it easier to manuever.
Overall, I think the eyeshadows I purchased are amazing! The pigmentation and quality is awesome! I honestly have nothing bad to say about the items that I purchased. I'm happy that I got them and I'm going to be purchasing more very soon! :)

HAUL: Inglot + some other goodies!

Hey Beauties,
Hope all of you are doing well!

After all the hype about Inglot, I decided to place an order.  Originally, I was going to order the 20 pan freedom system eyeshadow palette, but went with the 10 pan.  I figured if I fell in love, then I would purchase more.   I've used 8 of the 10 colors and LOVE them!  They are highly pigmented..the color payoff is amazing! I will do another post with a review and swatches soon!

I got some other stuff from Ulta and Walgreens.
I've been slurging a little too much lately!  ayyy  :)

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara Review & Demo

Hey Dolls,
Back in Feb or March, I picked up the Physicians Formula (PF) Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara from CVS Pharmacy for around $9.99.  At this time, there were some new physicians formula products that had mail-in rebates stickers attached to them.  This particular mascara had a rebate in which I was able to pretty much try the product for free.  I just had to print and fill out a rebate form from the PF website, then mail it in with my receipt, rebate sticker and rebate form.  Weeks later, I received a check for almost the full amount ($9.09).  Anyway, that's besides the point of this post...LOL.

I used this mascara off and on for about a month, then started using it consistently until it was beat to death.  Overall I did like it but not enough to re-purchase it.  I didn't hate it nor did I LOVE it!  There are other mascaras out there that I prefer over this one.

Here are some PROS and CONS...

PROS:
* 100% Organic
* Lengthens and seperates lashes pretty well
* Flexible brush
* Available at mutiple retailers (CVS, Walgreens, Ulta, etc...)

CONS:
* Brush doesn't come to a point at the end (tip) which makes it hard to get into the inner lashes
* Formula is a bit on the dry side which over time becomes flakey
* Medium to larger brush which might be an issue for those with shorter lashes (just depends on your brush size preference)

RATING:

Have you tried this mascara?  What are your thoughts?
